This is exactly why the federal education system must be stopped immediately. When you control the minds of the young then you control the future. States or even more local schools should be formed. Who knows better the needs of the local community than those that live in it? The more diverse the educational system the harder it is to manipulate and control. Parents care about their own kids and will ensure they receive a proper education, but what is proper may be different in the country than in the city, may be different in cold vs hot climates…any way you slice it, the federal govt has zero business in public education…except to pursue nefarious agendas.
