DPRK has been a thorn in the side of the Chinese for decades. It was always up to them and Russia to keep DPRK in check. Just not sure they expected this to happen so quickly and the idea of buying a Happy Meal in Pyonyang in 2020 is scaring them a bit.

Little bit of fact. Little bit of sarcasm.

DPRK would saber rattle and sometimes be a little too provocative. Taking things to a point of escalation. China and Russia have always acted behind the scenes to temper those actions.

Now things are changing and China has lost that influence over DPRK. POTUS reached out to them and it's clear what has happened. This is geopolitical brinksmanship at a level China has never seen before. They were not and are not ready for this.

We live in interesting times anon. This is fascinating to watch and be a small part of it through this board.
