Re-reading the DOJ OIG report and was once again blown away by how obvious the cover up was being carried out by the DOJ.
FBI in NYC reported to the midyear team on 9/26 and 9/27 that there were 300K [HRC] emails on the Wiener laptop.
Strzok and Paige discussed this in text messages.
Then proceeded to forget about it until 10/26.
They only picked it up again because the Department of Justice asked them about it.
During this process there was discussion about the issue becoming more complicated. It appears that it became more complicated because of
crimes against children.

I re-read the OIG DOJ Inspector's report and was blown away by the portion regarding the tarmac meeting.
LL's people were going nuts that she was meeting with WJC for that long.
LL testimony to IG Horowitz and team indicate that she was trying to get rid of WJC and he would not leave.
Both of them, especially Wild Bill clearly were very careful with their deposition. Saying they might have discussed things but not remembering.

It's a different time now. The stage has been set and we're now in the Storm. It seems to me that this is a quiet period where we're waiting for Huber to drop the hammer.
Not a lot of research to be had at this point.

The most spectacular part of this thing was how they tried to cover up the fact that they did nothing with them for a whole month.

I'm re-reading the Horowitz report and am being constantly blown away.
When it was first published I was disappointed regarding the exec summary and the conclusion of no bias.
I have expanded my thinking and now understand that it was being written for Huber to take action.
The cover up that you can see between the lines of the Huber investigation is insane.
I wonder if the plan calls for indictments before or after mid-terms.
Perhaps DECLAS is all the October Surprise we will need, but it sure would be great to see some major indictments.
