So I have been looking into some old campaign posters and found lots of symbology which took me down another rabbit hole. I know much of this has been covered before but I thought it was worth mentioning. Black eyes on the left side. Left side = eye of horus, moon. Right side = faith, light, sun (of which we rarely see blackened). Noticed this old Abe poster with the right eye symbology and called the wide awake club. Maybe we should bring it back.
