Observation:
Barbara Bush's intimate wedding netted this pic which shows the bride sporting a band-aid on her middle finger. Reminiscent of the spirit cooking recipe we've come to know, this injury is on the opposite finger. Is this a new recipe of some kind? Is there an opposite meaning for this type of ritual?
Perhaps instead of cooking a spirit, one is introduced or invoked for the new union of the bride and her new beginning.

The injury and subsequent band-aid is on Barbara's RIGHT MIDDLE FINGER.
That's the hand that is on Pappy's shoulder and the finger that's in the MIDDLE of the others.
