Currently,

DASH supports capacity building efforts through 18 state education agencies and 17 school

districts for HIV and STI prevention in schools that integrates substance use prevention, violence

prevention, and other public health approaches. The work within DASH expands the research

and evidence base of how to best meet the needs of young people, including LGBTQ youth and

other marginalized adolescents.
