Convicted sexter Anthony Weiner is reportedly on track for early release from prison next May for “good conduct.”
The former New York Democratic congressman last November began serving 21 months for sexting an underage girl, and wasn’t due for release until August 2019.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons announced his release date was moved up three months, Radar Online first reported.
“The projected release date for Anthony Weiner is May 14, 2019,” a spokesperson said in a statement to the news outlet. “This projected release date includes credit for good conduct time that may be earned throughout the remainder of his sentence. Good conduct time is governed by Title 18 U.S. Code Section 3624(b), which provides for inmates to earn up to 54 days of good conduct time credit for each year served.”
