Yea you should watch it. Its 3 seasons and it started out in 2015. And even then there were references to the shit we discuss in here.
Basically the plot of the series is there is a "Faction" in the government that recruits CIA and FBI agents into a "secret shadow government". The main character is training to become an FBI agent. It flashes forward and backward in time of the shit she encounters.
There is a major bill in one of the episodes where the bad guys in government are trying to pass a "Muslim Ban Bill". And the "good guys" are trying to stop it.
Now isnt that interesting because remember executive order 13769 .. read below…

This secret shadow government is discovered after a 911 level attack in New York.
There are so many references in there it blows my mind. Im going to re-watch the series and take notes. My gut tells me there is much more to this show.
