Good morning anons!
I woke up with an idea this morning that I thought might be useful for the upcoming midterms. Time is a little short, and I don’t have the resources to do it quickly, but if there are any filmfags that have access to a population of old communists, it should be fairly easy to do.
My idea is to make a quick documentary, about 5 minutes long, interviewing a couple of people who have lived under socialist/Marxist/communist governments, with an emphasis on what it’s like to live under a centrally planned government that doesn’t allow a great deal of personal freedom. The idea, of course, is to show that the democrat’s utopian vision of “free stuff” is just a road to tyranny.
If we could find a couple of people who lived in the Soviet Union, North Korea, China, Venezuela, Cuba, etc., and get their stories, it might help open some eyes at least on the center-left, and move some of them to #walkaway.
The midterms are just around the corner, so it would have to be put together quickly, that and the fact that snowflakes tend to have short attention spans, makes me think that a 5 minute video is the right length, although I think a lot of people would be interested in a longer version. Whatever the case, if someone could put that together on short notice and get it uploaded, we could share the hell out of it in the weeks before the elections.
What do you think?
