At least 6 limo crash victims have ties to the North Country

 

NBC5 has learned at least six victims who were killed in a limo crash outside of Albany have ties to the North Country.

 

SUNY Plattsburgh said Allison King earned a degree in speech communications in 2010.

Her sister, Amy King Steenburg, graduated with a degree in psychology in 2011.

 

She played on the Cardinals women's soccer team for three years, a university spokesman said.

 

Their brother-in-law, Adam Jackson, who also died in the crash, transferred to SUNY Plattsburgh for the 2005-2006 school year.

 

Amanda Rivenburg, who also died in the crash, earned a degree in social work from SUNY Plattsburgh and graduated in 2011.

 

All four lived on campus, the university said

A SUNY Oswego geology professor and his father-in-law were the two pedestrians killed in the horrific limousine crash in upstate New York, the educator’s heartbroken mother told The Post on Monday.

 

Assistant Professor Brian Hough, 46, and James Schnurr, 71, were in the parking lot of the Apple Barrel County Store Saturday when they were fatally struck by the vehicle, according to Hough’s mom, Artra Hough.
