So true, on many levels. Look, I'm hold certain military law credentials (not a lawyer) and can tell you military tribunals aren't all they're cracked up to be. Yes, they invoke certain harsh penalties, but the basic rights are still there. Good, if the punishment is death, not so good for anything else. And, many of these perps don't actually justify death. Better for those to use the existing court system. If death is already on the table, also better to use the existing system.
Oh, and firing squad is considered by many to be an honorable death. Ask Goering.
