We need to hand them facts. The actual facts of happenings and not simply what we think is going to happen will be quite sufficient.
Q did get kicked of off 4chan, more or less. It wasn't that Q was banned, but there were so many people on /pol/ who didn't want to see CBTS any more. I was there when there was the migration to 8 chan, someone or someones were pushing very hard to get people to move to 8 chan.
A key difference between 4 chan and 8 chan is that 4 chan is indexed by Google, and people could stumble across 4 chan a lot easier.
