It's an information war. I remember Mattis briefing troops in South Korea last year and he told them that they were going to find themselves in the middle of an information war.
This goes along with my theory that the "If RR is dirty then Mueller is dirty…" drop was disinfo. The cabal knew they controlled RR and Q saying that would assure them (falsely) that Mueller is also under control.
I have a few other thoughts on this but I can't be sure if they're accurate or close at the moment.
