RR is a smooth talking articulate bureaucrat. I watched his testimonies before congress. He knows how to redirect questions and tell people what they want to hear. He’s a snake in the swamp. I don’t think POTUS likes him much but he can’t arbitrarily fire everyone in the FBI while under investigation though he would, but I believe RR is slick enough to see the winds changing and ride them. Surely his meeting with Kelly and then POTUS is to iron those details out. The FBI played ball in helping get kavanaugh confirmed which I was wrong about. RR would have to have been involved in making that happen which pleased much of Trumps base who desperately want a conservative SC.
Just an opinion tho.
