I'm none too excited about dessicating more of our beautiful land with industrial scale agriculture and all the chemicals etc.
One thought- what if the land is so fukked from monsanto we cannot grow safe food on it again anyway so might as well grow fuel while we heal? Also what do we not know about oil and gas? Perhaps a little substitution with a lesser evil for a minute while we release new tech for energy? Who knows outside the 10?
