Nikki Haley implemented and executed Trump’s agenda on the world stage well. POTUS appreciates her efforts. She was given a lot of latitude performing her job and didn’t have or need babysitting.

New ambassador will be prepared to move Trump’s world agenda (North Korea, Iran, China, EU, Middle East) but will need constant support and direction from Pompeo and military.
After the first of the year, things will get much more intense. Essentially a player who has the requisite skill set (military chain of command) is needed to move forward globally.
