She gets out of govt for 2 years to write a book and do some speaking stuff… remember she's a Mom to a son in high school and daughter in college. Maybe she wants to be with them more, crucial time in their lives before the fly the coop for good.

THEN… she comes back (even more popular than she is now because that's what absence does) to replace VP Pence to become first woman VP.

By then SO MUCH WINNING that she'll be in perfect alignment to become first woman president in 2024.
