"Finally arrived safely in Baja Ca Sur after 10 days . What a trip. Saw many things … yesterday was most disturbing. On board ferry from Mazatlan to La Paz about 150 young men, Honduran got on ferry last minute all together. After speaking to another Honduran working on ferry living in Mexico , he said they were bused in and given money for ferry. This way they are able to avoid center of Mexico and Federal checkpoints , less problems but they are being helped to arrive sooner to the States. This is not a normal situation. They are the type that look like they would do anything for money … the kind you see in a Gang , carrying backpacks only and had money to be able to take ferry and food… not cheap."
