Corn ethanol requires vast quantities of farmland. Less farmland for food production equals higher fuel prices.
ANY carbohydrate can be converted to fuel. Food scrap, grass clippings, brush/tree scrap, even coal.
The Nazis used coal gasification to fuel their war machine at the start of the war. Gasification can turn any carbohydrate into a synthetic hydrocarbon suitable for fuel, without wasting farmland. Wasting farmland is part of the cabal's goal to create food shortages and the resulting riots.
If you're interested in helping farmers, try cutting the cost of business. Look at the cost of a combine these days. But look into who these corn farmers are first.
The largest of them all? The ones receiving the bulk of the subsidies? The Buffets.
