Also remember that POTUS never telegraphs his moves. I think the Dems we’re preparing themselves to fight against the declass and it’s fallout (eg: RR resigning) - but now the got nothing. They are currently left without anything ‘new’ to fight Trump on. And they have no real message so it looks like they are going in to the midterms rudderless!
