The late pastor David Wilkerson once preached a sermon called "The Twin Towers Have Fallen But We Missed The Message". He preached that when the nation experienced the tragedy of 9/11, instead of assessing our national condition and turning the culture back to God, we did some passive sloganeering for awhile, went to war overseas, and went back to our daily lives.
Did we stop aborting babies? NO
Did we turn back from the sin of homosexuality? NO
Did we rid ourselves of filthy pornography? NO
Did we start going to church again and seek His Word in the Bible? NO
No, we doubled down on most of those things and allowed our courts to continue to drive God from the public square. And now, when we figure out the COST associated with running astray from the Lord, we want him to be there in helping us defeat the evil that has infiltrated our country and culture.
This time he might not be there. There may be no revival in this country until we allow ourselves to be broken by the fear of God again.
And without God on our side, 1000 Q's would be unsuccessful. Pastor Wilkerson said if we humbled ourselves and raised up a modern-day Josiah, God might spare us from these dangerous times. I'm still not sure if Trump is that man.
If you care about this country, start praying like you've never prayed before. This operation depends on that more than any research in the world.
