So when McCabe was acting Director of FBI, in between Comeys firing and appointment of Mueller in Spring 2017, McCabe opened up criminal investigations into Sessions (perjury) and Trump (obstruction of justice).

Rosenstein is going to come out of this thing intact I believe, he was working with trump to get McCabe off the investigation.

Comey May have leaked his memos expressly to get special counsel appointed…. side benefit : to get McCabe and FBI off the investigation. This seems to be what RR was aiming for as well.

So we are getting even more evidence that Mueller was brought on to remove MCabe's influence from the case. That RR had to instruct Mueller verbally to avoid sharing the SC jurisdiction w McCabe. The day McCabe lost authority as Acting Director, RR issued more detailed orders.

Mueller and RR are not partisan Trump people, but they are honestly investigating the swamp (final FISA application, the one done after McCabe was out, has lots of extra redacted pages, most likely pertaining to surveillance on coup plotters).
