I have Vietnamese-American friends, and from what I'm told there is great concern in VN that China is actively trying to poison the Vietnamese people through food, veg, spices, etc while at the same time making its moves on the Spratley Islands and South China Sea. I'm sure that China would like nothing more than to have that 1800 mile long VN coastline without a land battle, as they have gotten their butts kicked by little VN every single time.

There are also reports of migration problems and in particular the Chinese are dumping their criminal elements into Vietnam.

As expected (and as everywhere globally and in the USA), the Chinese are accomplishing much of their long-term hegemony plan for VN through massive bribery of pols, made much easier with VN communist politicans who are inherently corrupt.

Anyway, everything China is poison, nit just here in the USA but globally.
