Anons, I had an interesting conversation this week with an Uber driver whose day job was directing Unmanned Aircraft (i.e. drones) for USArmy. He'd been doing it for ~12 years. He talked a lot about how warfare was evolving entirely in that direction, i.e. strikes scouted and assisted by unmanned aircraft. When I said he must have seen a lot of change in that technology, he said Boy yeah, but that most of the development was being done by the Israelis. "Why do you think we give them so much money?" he says. I didn't get a chance to ask him about Chinese microchips in our aircraft, but with all the focus on China, this encounter turned my attention back to the strategic importance of Isreal, and maybe part of why "Israel is being left for last." Possible digging in this direction?
