President Trump acknowledged a “probably tougher” path to retain GOP control of the House… injecting some political reality into his standard rhetoric that boasts of a “red wave” in November, the Washington Post reports.

Said Trump: “I think in the Senate, we’re doing really well… We’re going to win a lot of seats.” But, he added: “The House is probably tougher.”

Any comments Q? How are you going to enact the plan with the house dragging you down in bullshit for the next 2 years? I'm not trolling. Serious question.

Would make sense to wait if Trump was confident of winning the midterms. Doesn't seem like it though. Seems like the House is lost. Trump is pretty much saying we will probably lose the house. If that is the case, he should be dropping shit last month, not after he has even less power after losing congress.

2018 won't be so glorious if we lose one of two houses of congress. The dems win the house, they WILL file impeachment proceedings. They wont win, but they will bog Trump down in legal bullshit for the rest of the term. You thought Mueller was a problem? Wait until the dems have the house.

Actually that was a well thought out, well researched post. Would be nice to see the same thought put into refuting his points, rather than watching a moron rely on the rest of the sheep to slap him on the back for making a weak insult that in no way constitutes an argument.

Yes. I hope this is true, but it seem strange that Trump would be sowing doubt. Statistically the more confident party turns out in greater numbers, which is why the dems always try to project confidence and leads in their bullshit polls. Why would Trump try to do the opposite? If repubs think there will be a huge win to fuck over the dems forever, what would be more motivating than that? Telling them, well, we will probably get the senate, but probably not the house, that sounds like lukewarm bullshit that no one is going to get excited about.
