Mankind is born with an inner voice, a conscience. This is the light of Jesus Christ. Anything that is good comes from God. There is good and there is evil. Satan NEVER entices people to do good. Thus, we are enticed by one or the other and become agents for ourselves. We choose to act upon the good that is within us to love God and love our fellow beings and be holy.
What brings pain and sorrow into the world? By the nature of the fall of Adam and Eve, people all make mistakes and sin. Mortality is a necessary part of an eternal existence. It is a probationary period. Spiritual death is a separation from God. Being cast from Eden, Adam and Eve entered this realm and became earthly parents to the spiritual children of God. Thus mankind is a spiritual being having an earthly, mortal experience. Know that you are a spiritual child of God by your presence in mortality. All people chose this, in fact welcomed the opportunity. As spiritual offspring of the Father, knowing that trials would come, people wanted this.
Why would people be willing to endure mortality with all the sickness, pain, wars, poverty, oppression by false priests and governments, and those who subject themselves to Satan and followed the enemy of God? Because there is a path provided back into the presence of God. That is to become clean of the blood and sins of this world by following Jesus Christ back into the Father’s presence.
Spiritually, Jesus Christ is the Firstborn of the Father. His role is Creator, Savior and Redeemer. He promised from the beginning is to ALWAYS follow the Father. Christ’s will or agency is the Father’s. He proposed that he would live a perfect life on earth. It would anger those people who allowed themselves to be subjected to Satan enough to slay Christ. Christ would then be resurrected as an immortal Being with an inseparable body of spirit, flesh and bone. Thus overcoming the world and the grave. As in Adam mankind must die, in Christ we may become joint-heirs of that heavenly gift, Eternal Life.
Thus the followers of that light within develop. By choice, drowning out the temptations of the devil and the evils of mortal flesh mankind may become holy. The pathway was clearly marked by Christ. What is required of people to enter God’s presence is to have faith in Jesus Christ. We must then repent of all sins. As Christ was baptized to fulfill all righteousness, so must God’s children be. Then comes the Holy Ghost (as the third member of the Godhead) as an additional gift from God. He enhances people’s abilities. They can then assist others to love God, love one another as Christ loves, and endure to the end.
Your soul is at stake. Wake up. Live a decent life. When you err, repent. Never give up. When you stumble get up. That is the plan. Trust the plan at all costs.
