And, the penalty for treason has been death since at least 1976. I've kept up with the MFM since 1978, that was the standard then. Little has changed. Yes, the COTUS applies, but the rules are slightly different, and judges/juries are not very forgiving. Think about it, if you were charged with treason like this, would you really want to face someone like me? Possible.
