This video is an interesting evaluation of the psychology around reactions to the Kavanaugh/Blasey-Ford situation. To counteract this, perhaps what we need to do is remind people that actors are very good at getting these types of reactions in us, but that does not make their portrayal real. Christine Blasey-Ford may well have had an experience like the one she described, but that does not mean that the other person was Brett Kavanaugh.

OK, so maybe we've moved on from this particular topic. But the basis remains. The "left" is being moved by emotional arguments that have no basis in fact. They need to be reminded somehow that emotions are not facts and that emotions can be manipulated. They need examples of how that is done. Maybe even some optical illusions to show them that what they think they see is not always what is there? They need some logic lessons.

Our president is a good man. There are stories about him helping people prior to his running for office, but they didn't get talked about much. I like that story about how he offered his plane to the sick child, for instance. But there were simpler instances, too.
