Royalties for song is 50% music 50% songwriter. As a artist/ sonwriter you only get 50% the other 50% has alway magical vanished, and with most labels or artist the screwed there bandmates or songwriting partners and submitted the owned 100%. Then with streaming we def have not been paid but people like taylor jz , the top 10 artist end up taking our royalties. The laws that were in place really screwed us big time. Now all of us artist played a part in passing this law, it levels the field, so now a newbe has a chance. But the one on tv were there for personal gread and photo opps.
