Solution: Burn it.
Solution Expanded: Burn it as efficiently as possible, as a fuel additive if possible, since you've already got copious amounts of it compared to other crops.. Hell, sell it to China if you can.
Burn it until there is nothing left of that foul beast.. Then, replant with other crops that are more effective, like hemp, which will also remediate the life of the soil, provide nearly limitless options for it's material to help create (fibers, fuel, insulation, etc etc) the newly revived America that provides fresh opportunities to all.
