I've been bitten by two dogs. One was a medium-small fence fighter, and chronic biter come to find out, which made me feel obligated to take the owner to court to at least have the dog moved outside the city limits. The second was – wait for it – a pitbull. It just out of nowhere grabbed the sleeve of my down jacket.
I had a friend that worked at a large animal shelter. They brought in a number of dogs from a dog fighting ring and chained them up in a room. One got loose.
