Brazil Captain Neymar’s Team PSG Involved In Match-Fixing?

UEFA informed French judiciary authorities that there might be match fixing involved in the Champions League match between Paris-Saint-Germain (the club of Brazil captain Neymar Junior) and Red Star Belgrade last week. A board member of the Serbian club would have bet five million euros on a defeat with five goals difference from his own team. It became 6-1.

PSG-Red Star Belgrade was played on the second day of the Champion’s League group stage on October 3rd. The Serbian team lost a whopping 6-1.

With three goals, including two free kicks, Brazilian superstar Neymar stole the show at the Parc des Princes.

So far, so good, until today the news came that there may be something fishy about the game. A few days before the match, UEFA was tipped off that a prominent board member of Red Star had taken out a hefty wager against his own team. The man-made bets for a total of five million euros saying his team would be defeated with a five-goal difference on multiple gambling sites, and with a variety of betting amounts, not to arouse suspicion.

Possible gain: 25 million euros. To ensure that his plan would be successful, the board member informed some Red Star players who would surely be chosen for the defense that evening to let in some easy goals.

The informant who tipped UEFA also told the European Football Association that the Red Star board member would meet with PSG chairman Nasser Al Khelaifi the day before the match.

Dragan Dzajic, chairman of the Red Star, laughs at the accusations at the address of the Serbian club. "This is the first thing I hear about this. I know absolutely nothing about this. Impossible that this is true. "

PSG has also responded to the news. The Parisian top club says to be surprised and is considering taking steps against people trying to discredit the club. "We have taken note of this with the greatest amazement. We reject every direct and indirect involvement in this story," is stated in a statement on the club’s website. "We will provide full cooperation to the researchers. We do not accept any reputational damage to the club or our people. We reserve the right to take action against people who do so. PSG stands for integrity. "

Syria, Israel Agree to Reopen Key Crossing in Disputed Golan Heights – US Envoy

In late September, Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman signaled his country's readiness to resume normal activity at the Quneitra border crossing point, adding that "now the ball is in the Syrian court."

US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said that Israel and Syria had agreed to open the Quneitra checkpoint in the Golan Heights on Monday to help UN peacekeepers "prevent hostilities" in the area.

"We look to both Israel and Syria to provide UN peacekeepers the access they need as well as assurances of their safety. We also call on Syria to take the necessary steps so UNDOF [the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force] can safely and effectively deploy and patrol without interference," Haley pointed out.

Her statement came a few weeks after Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that the Jewish state is ready to re-open the Quneitra checkpoint, the only official border crossing point with Syria.

"We see Syrian police and customs officers on the opposite side of the border, work is underway, patrols of the Russian military police are passing. […] We are ready to bring life back to normal," Lieberman said after visiting the Israeli section of the crossing in late September.

Lt. Gen. Sergei Kuralenko, the deputy commander of the Russian forces in Syria, for his part, said that the upcoming reopening of the Quneitra checkpoint was "preceded by significant work carried out by the armed forces of the Syrian Arab Republic with the assistance of the Russian Aerospace Forces."

" The work at the checkpoint was launched by the Russian servicemen, by the Russian military police. First of all, we came to the site, checked it, then proceeded with extensive work to demine the area. At the final stage, the territory's clearance was checked by the mine clearance specialists of the UN mission," Kuralenko said.

The conditions for the resumption of the checkpoint's work were created after Syrian government forces regained control over Syria's southern areas several months ago and the UN peacekeepers returned to the line of separation with Israel.

In May 1974, Israel and Syria signed a disengagement agreement after a military conflict fought mainly in Sinai and the Golan Heights. Under the agreement, part of Quneitra province was returned to Syrian government control, although the authority of Damascus in the region was disrupted by the civil unrest which began in Syria in 2011.

In 1967, Israel took control of the Golan Heights after the Six-Day War, and in 1981, the Jewish state passed a law declaring its right to the area, a document that has never been recognized internationally.

Although it never recognized recognize Israeli sovereignty over the region, the UN brokered an armistice between the two countries in 1974, forcing Israel out of parts of the Golan Heights and the destroyed capital of the Quneitra province.

The dispute between Israel and Syria over the territory has yet to be resolved.

Pope Francis Accepts Resignation of D.C. Cardinal Donald Wuerl

ROME — Pope Francis accepted the resignation of Washington, DC, Cardinal Donald Wuerl on Friday but asked him to stay on as “Apostolic Administrator” of the archdiocese until a permanent successor is appointed.

In his October 12 letter, Pope Francis thanked the cardinal for his service and praised the way he has dealt with accusations of having mishandled the sex abuse crisis.

As required by Church law, Cardinal Wuerl had submitted his resignation to the pope on November 12, 2015, when he turned 75 years old, but the pope asked him to stay put.

Last month, Wuerl announced his upcoming retirement, saying he intended to travel to Rome to discuss with Pope Francis his departure from the Washington Archdiocese.

“I intend, in the very near future, to go to Rome to meet with our Holy Father about the resignation I presented nearly three years ago,” Wuerl explained in a letter to the priests of the archdiocese.

The cardinal said that the decision to remove himself from his leadership role came as fruit of discernment regarding “the best course of action for me to pursue as we face new revelations of the extent of the horror of the clergy abuse of children and the failures in episcopal oversight.”

Wuerl had been implicated in a recent Pennsylvania grand jury report on clergy sexual abuse, which claimed that he had approved transfers for abusing priests instead of removing them from ministry. It also alleged that he concealed information from law enforcement when priests were reported and oversaw insufficient church investigations into abuse.

By late August, nearly 80,000 people had signed a Change.org petition urging Pope Francis to remove Cardinal Wuerl from his post as archbishop of Washington, DC.

The petition said that Wuerl should be removed from his position for allegedly covering up the sexual abuse of minors and paying off clergy to lie about their stories while serving as bishop of Pittsburgh.

“Cardinal Wuerl did not act with moral courage to remove predator priests from public ministry. Decades later, his failure to lead has scandalized the Church,” the petition said.

The Pope noted in his letter Friday that he had received a September 21 request from Cardinal Wuerl that his resignation be accepted and lauded the prelate for having sought the good of the Church.

“This request rests on two pillars that have marked and continue to mark your ministry: to seek in all things the greater glory of God and to procure the good of the people entrusted to your care,” Francis wrote.

In his letter, the pope also defended the cardinal against accusations of cover-up of sexual abuse, saying there is a difference between covering up and making “mistakes.”

“You have sufficient elements to ‘justify’ your actions and distinguish between what it means to cover up crimes or not to deal with problems, and to commit some mistakes,” he said. “However, your nobility has led you not to choose this way of defense. Of this, I am proud and thank you.”

“Your renunciation is a sign of your availability and docility to the Spirit who continues to act in his Church,” he added.

Cardinal Wuerl responded to the pope’s letter Friday with his own statement, in which he said that that “the Holy Father’s decision to provide new leadership to the Archdiocese can allow all of the faithful, clergy, religious and lay, to focus on healing and the future. It permits this local Church to move forward.”

“Once again for any past errors in judgment I apologize and ask for pardon,” he said. “My resignation is one way to express my great and abiding love for you the people of the Church of Washington.”

GOD MODE UNLOCKED – Hardware Backdoors in x86 CPUs

This talk will demonstrate what everyone has long feared but never proven: there are hardware backdoors in some x86 processors, and they’re buried deeper than we ever imagined possible. While this research specifically examines a third-party processor, we use this as a stepping stone to explore the feasibility of more widespread hardware backdoors.

Judge a man by his actions. Putin is a good man I have friends in and from Russia and they all love him. He's been provoked into war repeatedly and if he did he would've been justified but he was smarter and knew the cabals game.

And Trump well what sold it for me was him getting the homeless woman from the front of Trump tower and putting her up for years free of charge meals included.

The measure of man's actions says it all!
