I've stood next to the sphinx and i don't remember seeing any carvings. So where on the sphinx is the Tree of Life located?

I wasn't looking for it specifically.when i was there. And it was more than 10 years ago.
But one thing i remember was that the entire site was remarkably empty of carvings.
On average. How many dead bodies will pile up in a year?
How long for said bodies to decompose?
How long before we would be swimming in dead bodies?

My guess is that, that is dependent on the circumstances of your death.
If you died of old age with your family, you are put in the ground.
If you were kidnapped and ritually sacrificed you get on the "Grey Market"
