Am bothered by a seeming inconsistency in spy gate.

The FBI fired Christopher Steele in Nov. 2016, while Comey was the FBI director, for failing to follow FBI rules regarding media contacts.

Yet, later, Steele is again feeding information into the FBI through the DOJ.

And, the FBI knows this.

Someone at the FBI was honest enough to fire Steele for violating rules in Nov. 2016.

Who was that?

What happened to them?

How were they able to fire Steele under Comey?

Did the agent that fired Steele know info was coming into the FBI through Steele again?

Did that agent raise a stink?

Too many unanswered questions here for me.
