My kid is 27 now and a genius - WWII historian, phenomenal artist, and funny as hell.
He was on the leading edge of this 'epidemic' (while they were in the early stages of figuring out how much $$$ they could make on Therapy and Special Ed), and when first diagnosed I was told it was because I was a refrigerator parent and didn't give him enough love. I told them to fuck off and never looked back.
