Minnesota’s eighth congressional district has only elected one Republican to represent the district since 1947. That Republican was Chip Cravaack who won in 2010 but lost the seat back in 2012. Now, Minnesota’s eighth congressional district looks like it’s about to flip again. According to the latest New York Times poll of this district, currently held by Democrat Rick Nolan, Republican challenger Pete Stauber leads the Democrat challenger 51% to 33%! A whopping 18 point lead for a Republican in a district that’s had just one Republican elected since 1947 is mind boggling and yet another blow to the BS “blue wave.”

Italy’s Salvini condemned for moving migrants from ‘model’ town
ROME (Reuters) - Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini on Sunday defended his decision to move hundreds of migrants out of a southern Italian town widely seen as a model of successful integration as opposition groups accused him of racism.
Riace, a small town in Calabria, Italy's southern toe, has been in the spotlight since its mayor, Domenico Lucano, was arrested this month for allegedly favoring illegal immigration, sparking protests by residents and pro-migrant groups.
Salvini, leader of the right-wing League, celebrated the arrest, and this weekend announced that Riace's mainly African migrants would be moved out and spread around the country.
He said the decision was necessary to end abuses in the use of funds that previous governments had made available to the town for its projects to house and integrate migrants.
"We cannot tolerate irregularities in the use of public money, even under the excuse of spending it for migrants," said Salvini, whose party's support has surged on the back of his tough line against illegal immigration.

One of our all-time great fact checks was The Fact Checker’s March 21, 2008, report on Hillary Clinton’s false claim that she arrived in Bosnia “under sniper fire.” The article, written by our former colleague Michael Dobbs, was quickly followed by CBS News, PolitiFact and others — and ultimately became a defining moment in the 2008 campaign for the former first lady.
Hillary Clinton has been regaling supporters on the campaign trail with hair-raising tales of a trip she made to Bosnia in March 1996. In her retelling, she was sent to places that her husband, President Bill Clinton, could not go because they were “too dangerous.” When her account was challenged by one of her traveling companions, the comedian Sinbad, she upped the ante and injected even more drama into the story. In a speech earlier this week, she talked about “landing under sniper fire” and running for safety with “our heads down.”

Heck, at this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if the left started calling for the abolishment of marriages between rich, white men and supermodels.
This has created a frightening reality for the nation, due to the fact that Trump loves America. By following the illogical logic of the lunatic left, that means that the “resistance” hates America. We saw this in Berkeley, California with the riots to curb the First Amendment. We see it everyday in the left’s insistence that we treat people differently from one another, when our Constitution instead says that “all are created equal”.

Hours after the FBI found classified Hillary Clinton emails on Anthony Weiner's laptop, the wife of the FBI agent running the high-profile probe was promoted to a powerful position in the Securities and Exchange Commission, FBI sources said.
This case keeps getting worse for the FBI and embattled agent Peter Strzok, the lead investigator on the Clinton probe. His wife Melissa Hodgman was promoted to deputy director of SEC's Enforcement Division literally hours after Strzok and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe were debriefed about the Clinton emails found on Weiner's computer.
The FBI's original warrant for Weiner's laptop was issued in late September 2016 and a subsequent warrant was issued on Oct. 30, 2016 so that the FBI could use Huma Abedin's & Hillary's classified emails as evidence in the re-opened Clinton probe.
Hodgman was promoted Oct. 14, 2016, literally hours after investigators started to examine the laptop's contents for Clinton emails and assorted files, federal sources confirm.
Federal sources said the FBI field office in New York, who handled the original Weiner warrant for then-US Attorney Preet Bharara, reported to Strzok and McCabe that they had found evidence pertaining to the Hillary Clinton email case on Oct. 12, 2016, federal sources said.
About 36 hours later, Hodgman was promoted in the SEC.
