One person is dead and another was injured after a shooting broke out on a Tennessee Navy base early Sunday morning.
An active shooter was reported at a recreational lodging area called the Navy Lodge near the Millington Navy base at 3am.
The shooter is now in custody with Millington police
Authorities said the shooter's motive is currently unknown.
The name of the victims have not yet been released. The investigation is ongoing.
No active military members were involved in the shooting, according to Fox 13.
A gunman shot and injured two Army National Guard soldiers at the Naval Support Activity Mid-South base in Millington in October 2013.
Both injured soldiers suffered non-life threatening injuries and the shooter, who was identified as a National Guardsman, was taken into custody.
He reportedly had been fired and returned to the Army National Guard Recruiting center - less than a mile away from the Navy Lodge - where he shot two of his superiors
