Maine woman killed in suicide on I-95 was pregnant, obituary says

LINCOLN (WGME)– Maine State Police said 26-year-old Heidi McGovern, of Lee, took her own life when she stepped in front of a tanker truck on I-95 while holding her 2-year-old son.

McGovern died instantly, and according to her obituary, she was pregnant with her third child.

Her family told CBS 13 the little boy, Enoch, is still hospitalized and recovering.

He has extensive injuries, but the family says he's in fair condition.

There is a GoFundMe set up to help the family.

There is also a college fund set up for the two boys she leaves behind.
