Q may scale back the drops leading up to midterms in order to avoid future accusations of inappropriate influence, and also to avoid diminishing the President's accomplishments. At some point the entire Q operation will become known and studied as part of history. The President will want history to show that the red wave was thanks to his great policies that have dramatically improved the US economy.
