Syrian and Iraqi Foreign Ministers discuss coordination in counter-terrorism, reopening border crossings
Minister al-Moallem reviewed the developments in Syria, asserting that the Syrians are determined to continue the war on terrorism until all Syrian territory is liberated, affirming that Syria is now “writing the final chapter of the crisis and is on the cusp of victory.” Al-Jaafari said that the countries of the region and the world are starting to realize the truth about the Syrian position, what is happening in Syria, and the fact that the Syrian people paid the price of fighting terrorism on behalf of the world.

“The use of internationally prohibited weapons against the Syrian people has become a systematic and intentional behavior of this coalition in a blatant violation of the rules of international law, international humanitarian law and human rights. This crime is one in a series of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed against the Syrian people, including the Coalition’s continued support for terrorism and its use of terrorists and separatist militias to achieve its objectives and aggressive plans aimed at undermining the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic,” the Ministry added.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham Releases Its First Statement On Russian-Turkish Deconfliction Agreement
“We will not deviate from the option of jihad and fighting as a way to achieve the goals of our blessed revolution, first and foremost to bring down the criminal regime, free the prisoners and secure the return of the displaced to their country … Our weapons are a safety valve for the Sham revolution,” HTS statement reads.
The radical group added that it appreciates the efforts of everyone who worked to protect its areas, in a clear hint to Turkey. However, it warned from the “maneuvers of the Russian occupier and from trusting its intentions.”
“All the attempts of the criminal regime and its allies will fail and will be defeated, just like every other occupier throughout history,” HTS stated.

Syrian Army Launches New Attack Against ISIS Cells In Al-Safa
A source in the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) told SouthFront on October 14 that the army and former fighters of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) launched a new attack on the remaining ISIS cells in the heavily fortified area of al-Safa, north of the governorate of al-Suwayda.
From its side, the ISIS news agency Amaq reported that the terrorist group’s fighters ambushed two units of the SAA in al-Safa. As a result, a BMP-1 armored vehicle was damaged and two personnel of the SAA were killed.

Senior HTS Commander Calls For Attacks In Idlib To ‘Support’ Al-Rukban Camp

Sources close to the US-led coalition claim that the al-Rukban camp is besieged by the SAA. However, the camp is is a part of the the 55km de-escalation zone around the coalition base in al-Tanaf. The camp is also located right on the border with Jordan, which allows tons of military equipment to enter al-Tanaf on a regular basis.

Syrian delegation at IPU session affirms rejection of Turkish attempts to politicize return of displaced Syrians home
Member of the People’s Assembly Gabriere Ranissian said that Turkey has contributed to the war on Syria since the beginning of the crisis and facilitated the transporting, arming and financing of terrorists and oversaw the theft of hundreds of plants from Aleppo and then transporting and selling them in Turkey.
For his part, MP Samir al-Khatib affirmed Syria’s rejection of the Turkish attempts to politicize the return of Syrian refugees to their country by setting preconditions on the Syrian state as these attempts are considered a blatant interference in the internal affairs of Syria.
