I coded an npc a while back. His trigger was a red MAGA hat. Whenever he saw one, whether at the grocery store, a gas-o-line station, or a rest-a-raunt, he was to fly into a white hot rage, shout racial epithets, and grab the hat away from whoever was wearing it, even a kid. He was coded to use whatever violence was necessary, based on the hat wearer’s level of resistance.
