The list that was floating around here approx 10/6 is mostly bogus. I did the lookups, about 25 percent were probable or certain clown associations. Derived from going to every single candidate web site, reading bios, captured in a spreadsheet which I posted.

Stop posting these unsourced and incomplete lists. Show the data. Most of them are bogus (lots of mil with credible service backgrounds and credentials).

Sessions is authorized to DECLAS under EO 13526 Section 3.1(d) (agency head). It may already have happened.

"In some exceptional cases, however, the need to protect such information may be outweighed by the public interest in disclosure of the information, and in these cases the information should be declassified. When such questions arise, they shall be referred to the agency head or the senior agency official. That official will determine, as an exercise of discretion, whether the public interest in disclosure outweighs the damage to the national security that might reasonably be expected from disclosure. Kudos for F1 refs on Q board.

I once looked into the logistics of F1 and other motorsports series, and whether they could be or has been used for illegal transport. Could find only one possible link to an old IndyCar (?) team that was actually busted for dope, but not directly to race logistics.

But I don't doubt that there are many more in practice. Racing is a completely nonproductive (but awesome!) sport that's a monumental cash sink. Gotta pay the bills somehow. And just look at all the nefarious money characters behind the scenes. Somerset Maugham: "Monaco, a sunny place for shady people.”
