I’ve been on the other side of these (mil/intel). It’s actually great training. Typically when training you have a sister company or unit in these roles and it’s a lot less authentic. This type of thing happens all the time (when funding is there). Prior to certain deployments, we’d even have locals from that AO who were vetted flown in to role play.
