Fuckery afoot in arizona regarding elections. I registered to vote online and had selected republican as my preference and used servicearizona.com to sign up and vote. I was given a RECEIPT and a confirmation # saying that I was ready to go and A-OK.
I call today to have an agent sign me up for an early ballot list, she puts me me on hold 3 or 4 separate times and sais I am not in the system. I tell her thats insane and tried to give her the confirmation number ,she sais we don't use that sir and then redirects me to servicearizona.com to re-sign up.
Had I not called in today and waited on hold for 30+ minutes, I would literally not be able to VOTE since something happened to my application in transit. She had no explanation and just told me to go sign up again.
Anyone in arizona have a similar experience? I'm going to have to sign up again, and have no idea if it goes through unless I call and wait on hold for a lifetime. This isn't normal right?
