Microwaves use electricity to heat the food, induced into the wave standing on surface.
This is the same as using probed with electricity, and that would be electrolyzing the food. If you electrolyze salt water it makes bleach.
You figure it out.
Russia outlawed microwaves in the 70's for that reason.
