Has any other Anon watched the Pentagon Press Conference with Gerard Butler regarding his new movie about submarines? The press conference was today with three Pentagon officials, (One Admiral and two submarine specialist who advised on the accuracy of the submarine set and the accuracy of what really takes place when a Virginia class submarine is in active duty. Butler mentioned he and another producer were allowed to stay on board a submerged LA class sub for 3 days, even though classified equipment was on board. The Admiral was quick to state all classified equipment and info was not shared, however, the set for the sub is on hydraulics as to correctly show how a nuclear submarine actually feels when submerged. It was a good presentation.

I found it all very interesting that Hunt for Red October was mentioned as one of his favorite submarine movies.
