I know it's been a few days, but I want to bring up Kanye West because I have something to say about it.

Kanye speaks in a way very similar to Trump. And specifically by that I mean they assume their audience is smart enough to read between the lines. They don't think they need to explain all the small parts for people to understand the bigger picture. And in this, they are wrong, because sadly the general population is not able to keep up with them. They feel like it would insult those they are speaking too by going on to explain further, because they have already said enough.

And people call them simple minded for it, when actually they are overestimating the general population assuming they will understand the message.

Trump and Kanye are guilty of the same thing, thinking the public at large are not dumb. But in their defense, being as smart as they are, it might be hard to see others from a lesser perspective, believing instead in the common mind being capable and equal.

And I do think they are reaching those groups that do understand. And likely those groups have those around them that have learned to respect their thinking.

But there are a lot of people who think they are unhinged and making no sense, because they themselves are not capable of understanding the things being said in short forms.

Trump and Kanye are both geniuses in my opinion, I think Trump was absorbing and understanding everything Kanye said, even if there were points he didn't agree with. Which is more then the media, which acts like all Kanye did was rant nonsense the whole time. But I think POTUS followed it all no problem.
