Joe Scarborough Says Trump Is ‘Not Man Enough’ to Stand Up to Saudi Arabia: ‘He’s Kowtowing’
The set of “Morning Joe” didn’t take kindly to President Trump’s suggestion Monday that Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi might have been murdered by “rogue killers” — with both Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski in turn suggesting that Trump was weak.
“Just like he did in Helsinki. You have a guy who is scared of KGB agents, not man enough to stand up to former KGB agents and not man enough to stand up to Saudi sheikhs. That’s what we have in a president?” Scarborough asked.
“I thought he was going to be a strong leader. Instead he’s kowtowing and letting these people, letting these autocrats, letting these tyrants kill journalists in the light of day,” he continued.
Brzezinski was in complete agreement.
‘This is vintage Trump. Sowing doubt, propping up dictators and people who are cruel and people who are clearly on the side of wrong,” she said. “It hurts America and it certainly makes him look like a weak leader. So weak it’s painful.
“What ever they have on him better be worth it because he looks like a bumbling idiot,” she added. “Feckless.”
