Didn't see among notables, another story of rape being covered up in NJ. An aide of Gov. Murphy allegedly raped Katie Brennan in 2017. She got a rape kit done, multiple police reports, and reported directly to the governor's office, but her assailant was still hired. He (Alvarez) resigned on Oct. 9 after being contacted for comment by a newspaper. Brennan came forward publicly after exhausting all legal options to no avail. Sauce here (only now starting to be covered by other than local media)
