The point with the Hatch Act is that arresting or indicting Hillary in the next couple of weeks could be perceived as intending to influence the election.
Why else would Attorney General Sessions and President Trump be "going at it" regarding supposed inaction? When something finally does happen, the APPEARANCE and REALITY of justice must be preserved.
